PSCCS is legally registered as Phuthalichaba Savings and Credit Cooperative Society (Ltd). It is one of the fastest-growing cooperatives in Lesotho, set to change the financial landscape. Registration opened in December 2019.

Frequently asked questions
Find answers to the most common questions about Phuthalichaba.
- Membership is open to all citizens of Lesotho, wherever they live. You can apply online (see the Join page), or contact the PSCCS office and the team will guide you through the joining steps and fees.
- A valid identification document (National ID or passport), proof of your joining payment, and the details of an active Lesotho bank account from which you authorise PSCCS to collect your monthly savings.
- When you join, you authorise a monthly debit order on your bank account. Your savings are collected automatically each month, and you can adjust the amount from your online member account.
- Monthly Savings (a compulsory minimum plus any extra amount you choose to save), Term Deposits for a fixed period, and Education Savings for your children. See the Savings pages for the details of each.
- Members apply online from their member account. The loan limit is based on your total savings; the loan pages show the current limits, repayment period and costs.
